"I've never seen a better set of number lessons."

"For some reason, numbers are always tricky in foreign languages. It's easy enough to learn how to count, but being able to pronounce and understand long strings of numbers is almost invariably difficult. Fortunately, French teacher Camille Chevalier has created an excellent series of number exercises to help student overcome this problem. I've never seen a better set of number lessons "

"I highly recommend this book.  The CDs are excellent!"

"A Moi Paris Une Histoire Au Present is full of real-life situations and useful vocabulary.  One learns how French people interact with each other in daily life plus the words and syntax they use to do so. The conversations are challenging to the adult learner and fun.  Even the grammar exercises are enjoyable!  The book is much more interesting than most French textbooks. The CDs are outstanding. Camille has a clear, pleasant recording voice.  I found them to be invaluable as a learning tool."

"Your podcast is the exact thing I need "

" I just wanted to let you know I enjoyed your podcast very much! I am a German podcaster myself, and I learned French in school for five years. Since then, I forgot a lot. But most classes only offer “now we learn to count to twenty” or “bonjour, je m’appelle…” lectures. I am beyond that beginners stadium, so I get easily bored. But listening to regular French podcasts is too fast for me – so your podcast is the exact thing I need. I understood every word you said in the middle part and learned a few new words through the poem. "

"Your podcast makes learning French much more enjoyable than other methods"

" Well I downloaded your French Poetry podcasts and really enjoyed them… which encouraged me to visit your website.  It’s really great and makes learning French much more enjoyable than some other methods. I live in Canada so I grew up taking French classes…but it never really stuck...
Thanks for all your work."

"A Moi Paris, une Histoire au Présent is an amazing book..."

"A Moi Paris, une Histoire au Présent is an amazing book that shows you how French is really spoken. In addition, the situations are real and the vocabulary is useful and up to date. The text not only contains "in-context" grammar, but there are exercises and lots of vocabulary.
I enjoy reading and was having a hard time finding books I could understand, yet challenging enough, and not juvenile in its content. A Moi Paris, une Histoire au Présent fills that void."

"The most fun way to learn French"

"I've used several French books, but A Moi Paris, une Histoire au Présent has been the most fun way to learn French."

"Your material is the only one that covers the middle ground "

"There is a great deal of material available for real beginners and some information available for quite advanced users but, as far as I can see, your material is the only one that covers the middle ground. Once you have learned the basic grammar, vocabulary and structure of the language it remains very difficult to 'hear' what people are saying in French (if you come from an English background) and I suspect that it is at this point that many people give up. I have enjoyed your poetry podcasts and
loved "A Moi Paris". Merci beaucoup"

"Camille's book is a wonderful way to learn French"

" Camille's book "A Moi Paris, une Histoire au Présent" is a wonderful way to learn French within the context of an on-going story, making it enjoyable as well as educational. One learns how people in France inter-relate with one another informally, as well as how vocabulary is used in conversation (again within the context of the story) therefore making it more accessible and easier to learn and remember. I highly recommend this book and CDs to anyone who wants to improve their proficiency in French."

"Finally ! A French podcast all in French "

"I highly recommend this podcast : Camille has a great recodring voice, she speaks slowly enough that I could understand (I am a lower intermediate I think). The podcast is full of vocabulary, and thanks to the help on her website, I was able to understand all of it. It's nice to hear poetry and I feel I've understood something complicated and challenging, yet so part of the French culture. I am going to learn the poem by heart so I can say it out loud in my car :-))"

"Excellent resource "

"As a teacher who loves learning, I highly recommend this podcast to anyone interested in learning French. The quality and the clarity of Camille's diction is excellent, and the content of the podcast is interesting and intriguing, keeping the listener engaged on several levels. Something that sets it apart from the other French language tutorial podcast is that Camille does not move back and forth between English and French. Superb.

"this is the perfect combination"

"Whew! I just discovered your French poetry podcast. I love it! I could almost keep up with you, so it must be perfectly at my level! :-) Hopefully after listening a few times it will all be clear. I was pleased that I was able to follow the gist the first time even if the speed was just a wee bit fast for me.What a great format! I love poetry and I have been teaching myself French little by little over many years, so this is the perfect combination. And I'm traveling to Montreal next week, so it is perfectly timed to help me review a bit before I go."
