Even the grammar exercises are enjoyable! The book is much more interesting than most French textbooks.The CDs are outstanding. Camille has a clear, pleasant recording voice. I found them to be invaluable as a learning tool."

"A Moi Paris, une Histoire au Présent is an amazing book that shows you how French is really spoken. In addition, the situations are real and the vocabulary is useful and up to date. The text not only contains "in-context" grammar, but there are exercises and lots of vocabulary.
I enjoy reading and was having a hard time finding books I could understand, yet challenging enough, and not juvenile in its content. A Moi Paris, une Histoire au Présent fills that void."

"Your material is the only one that covers the middle ground "

"There is a great deal of material available for real beginners and some information available for quite advanced users but, as far as I can see, your material is the only one that covers the middle ground. Once you have learned the basic grammar, vocabulary and structure of the language it remains very difficult to 'hear' what people are saying in French (if you come from an English background) and I suspect that it is at this point that many people give up. I have enjoyed your poetry podcasts and

The podcast is full of vocabulary, and thanks to the help on her website, I was able to understand all of it. It's nice to hear poetry and I feel I've understood something complicated and challenging, yet so part of the French culture. I am going to learn the poem by heart so I can say it out loud in my car :-))"

"Whew! I just discovered your French poetry podcast. I love it! I could almost keep up with you, so it must be perfectly at my level! :-) Hopefully after listening a few times it will all be clear.
