On New Year's Eve 2005, as we were away on vacation and the dogs were home with a sitter coming twice a day to check on them, Pixel "went down" as they say for this kind of injury. Pixel has since been diagnosed with the infamous disc degnerative desease so common among dachsunds. What happened ? Noone will every know. Pixel is now doing great, runs and jumps as if nothing happened.
